In this case study, we are going to give an insight into one particular case that has been reported by the markets.
We got a request to deliver mass exports from the specific folder. Since it is a rather simple thing to do yourself we decided to prepare a little study case to provide you with an insight on how to deal with a similar case autonomously.
In order to start, you first need to access Browser:
Now let’s try and find the folder of interest to start our mass export.
For that, you need to go to the search string and choose Advanced Search:
After that, click products and select location:
Then click Submit to see the results.
After the results appear at the screen, wait for a couple of seconds or scroll the page to the very bottom to make sure that the system stopped adding new products to the list:
The possible question here, why we need to follow this path instead of just getting into the folder straight away. The reason may seem a bit complex, yet makes total sense if you think of it.
As we know in order to prepare files for export we need to open them in Tabler. For now, Tabler can extract information from PDPD files, therefore, this step with filtering is needed to filter out only PDPD files.
Otherwise, if you go to the folder directly and will select all files there and then will try to open them with Tabler, it simply won’t work since in the scope of your choice there might be some images or other documents that do not include PDPD extension. Therefore, it is even crucial to learn, how to use the Advanced search tool, so you can save some precious time to increase your efficiency here.
After you got your results it is time to open them up in Tabler. Therefore, just CTRL+A the products, then, right click and opt for “Open with Tabler”.
Then choose the localization (languages) you want to export and open those products in Tabler.
IMPORTANT: Make sure that all SKUs are sharing at least one platform. It is important because we can export the full list only when all of them share at least one common platform assigned.
Check the image below:
Now we can proceed with the export further, which means pressing export sign in the right upper corner and choosing the platform and pipeline through which you want to make an export:

Then just download your export from Publisher:
Click the icon of Publisher and download your export:
The files will be downloaded into your computer in a ZIP folder, so you just have to unpack them to start working further.
