  1. Open Synthrone Browser. Start typing in the search bar:

  2. The system will provide you with suggestions of files and folders that are related to the specified search term.
By clicking on any of the suggestions, you can access the needed file or a folder:

  3. If you just click the search bar, you will see the following layout:

By clicking one of the options, you will see all the content of the correspondent format.
For instance, if you click on the images icon, the system will filter out all available images from general storage.

Nevertheless, quite often you have to look for a specific set of images or products in the system, therefore we highly suggest to use Advanced Search for that.

Advanced search
It is accessible upon a single click in the search bar and is located in the left lower corner of the drop-down window.

After clicking the icon of advanced search you drop-down window changes into the following layout:

Note:
This drop-down is conditional which means that it will change its layout and adjust based on the choices you make.

Case Study:
Let’s check how to do it for the most common request that you usually have to deal with: how to find products/SKUs. Go to Advanced Search and pick Type of the file that you are looking for.

Type dropdown menu has the following suggestions:

Since we are looking for SKUs, let’s pick PRODUCTs and see how the conditional menu has changed:

If you want to be more specific in your query, fill in the new text fields.

Some of them might be too narrow or the system might treat them a bit differently after the submission of the request.
Therefore to understand their peculiarities, read more about them below:

Data Type:

Simple
this option is used in the case when you would like to see the products with only one primary page inside (without localized pages).

Master
initial tab of the card that is serving as a sample for further localization of the product and the content of which can also be propagated to other localizations of the card if needed.

Localized
shows the cards that apart from Master also contain language localizations.

Auditable
means that the products that are going to be filtered out were in preparation for conducting an audit.

The module where you can find those products is called Tracker.

Tracker is aimed to follow the performance at e-retailers shops of the defined range of products that are requested to be tracked by the customer.

Therefore this option is extremely useful if you have received new data for the products that are tracked and now want to refresh these data in Synthrone.

Crafter ID
is a unique identifier in Synthrone. Each localization has its unique identification number that allows you to look up for a product card or it’s localization regardless of other factors.
